Preparing for the New School Year

As summer begins to wind down, we are making plans in the Little Way Catholic Homeschoolers group. Calendars and curriculum catalogs share the day with summer activities and plans to savor the last days of August.

The group is also busy creating a field-trip schedule, a calendar for liturgical crafts for the school year and plans for parties.

Field trips this year include:

2. La Brea Tar Pits
3. Getty Center
4. Mission San Juan via Metrolink
5. Huntington Library
6. Griffith Observatory
7. Ocean Institute/Tidepools
   
8. Shroud Center, Fountain Valley
   
9. Rancho Los Cerritos
   

And we're still busily scribbling plans for more activities. Book exchanges, science fairs and a family picnic, oh, my!
